Monday morning washing in His word

2 Kings 25

Judah’s king
Zedekiah rebels

King Nebuchadnezzer
Lays seige

God’s anger
Seen, felt

Seigeworks surround
Famine reigns

King flees
Breeched walls

Gateway opened
Between walls

Toward Arabah
They fled

Jericho plains
Witness capture

Babylon’s king
Passes sentence

He witnesses
Before blinding

Jerusalem stripped
Chief priest, second priest

Threshold guardians,
All removed

Governor Gedaliah’s
Short reign

Mizpah witnesses
Struck down

Again to
Egypt flee

King Evil-Merodach
Grants mercy

His table
Opens to

Judah’s King
With kindness

To whom do I surrender when I should be confessing all to my Savior. Am I so different? In Christ we have an eternal priest preparing our hearts for His return.
